I am so excited for next week! I love celebrating Valentine’s Day! It’s all about LOVE. I have worked on a few different ways to set the table for the night. I am hoping I can talk Scott in to staying in and doing dinner as a family, including Courtney having her boyfriend over with us.
I started with a cute white with red polka dot table runner. I got it at my favorite store (Target, in case you didn’t know) at Christmas. Next I added the pink placemats along with white charger plates (I got them at Hobby Lobby). The red napkins are one of my favorite buys from Amazon. I topped it off with the (cheap) white plates from Walmart. I don’t mind if one of these plates gets broken… They cost less than $1 a piece! To offset the white I added a red paper doily and I think it adds a romantic touch. And another white plate from Walmart tops it off.
A few years ago I painted some mason jars different colors for different holidays/seasons. I love using them as vases on the table. And of course I had to use the pink cake stand I got in the Target dollar spot. I think that the cake Jaycee made is perfect on this table! I also love candles on a table. Target has great tapered candles and simple holders as well.
Glasses and silverware finished off the table! Do you like to make your table festive on holidays?
